Saint Carlo Acutis’ last words to his mother were deeply moving: “Mom, don’t be afraid. Since Jesus became a man, death has become the passage towards life, and we don’t need to flee it.”

At just 21 years old, Valeria Valverde suffered a devastating brain hemorrhage following a serious bicycle accident in Italy.

Her mother went to Assisi and prayed before the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis, entrusting her daughter’s recovery to his intercession.

Valeria’s unexpected recovery and the disappearance of the hemorrhage were later recognized by the Church as a miracle attributed to Carlo Acutis.

Franciskusbönen

Herre,

The Birth of Mary Was No Ordinary Birth… ⤵️ 📅 Feast Day: September 8 🕯️ Event: Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary 📍 Location: Near Nazareth, according to the visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich 🙏 Significance: The birth of Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ and Mother of the Church Every September 8, Catholics celebrate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, honoring the birth of the woman God chose to become the Mother of Jesus. According to the private revelations attributed to Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, Mary’s birth was surrounded by extraordinary joy. She described St. Anne holding the newborn Mary as the room filled with light and the angels rejoiced before God. Emmerich also saw Mary presented before the Most Holy Trinity in Heaven, while the heavenly host celebrated the child who would one day become the Mother of the Savior. She even described the patriarchs awaiting redemption rejoicing, especially Adam and Eve, because God’s promise of salvation was drawing closer to fulfillment. And creation itself seemed to celebrate. Birds sang, lambs leaped, and doves gathered in great numbers as if nature knew something holy had happened. These beautiful details come from private revelation and are not required Catholic belief, but they point us toward the mystery the Church celebrates on September 8. Mary entered the world quietly. Yet through her future “yes” to God, Jesus Christ would enter ours. ❤️‍🔥 Happy Birthday, Mama Mary! 🌹 💬 What does the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary mean to you personally? 🔁 Share this so more Catholics can discover the beautiful story of Mary’s birth and the visions attributed to Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. Our faith is full of treasures like this that deserve to be remembered and passed on.

Our Lady herself revealed to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche profound promises for those who recite her Rosary with devotion. These are treasures of the Church's living tradition, encouraging us to hold fast to this powerful prayer. Through the Rosary: ✅ You receive the particular graces you ask for, along with Our Lady’s special protection—and even greater graces that God pours out upon you, including those you did not ask for. ✅ It becomes a powerful armor against hell, destroying vice, delivering from sin, and dispelling heresy. It makes virtue flourish and draws hearts from the love of the world to the love of God and eternal things. ✅ Those who trust in her through the Rosary shall not perish, and at the hour of death, they will be refreshed with the light of God and the plenitude of His graces. Many souls are sanctified by this means! Blessed Alan de la Roche received heavenly visions urging the revival of the Rosary. Our Lord and Our Lady appeared to him, teaching its immense value in converting sinners, comforting the afflicted, and bringing souls closer to Jesus. Pope St. John Paul II reminded us that the Rosary is a path of contemplation—we sit at the school of Mary, gazing on the face of Christ. It is simple yet profound, uniting vocal prayer with meditation on the Gospel mysteries. Through it, families find peace, the sick receive comfort, and the faithful grow in holiness. if you feel burdened, tempted, or distant from God — pick up your beads. Pray it faithfully, even if imperfectly. Our Lady finishes what we start with love. It changes hearts slowly but surely, drawing us into deeper union with Jesus. Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us. Amen!

INSIDE THE TRADITIONAL BIRTHPLACE OF THE VIRGIN MARY ⤵️ Today, September 8, the Church celebrates the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the birthday of Mother Mary. Near the Pools of Bethesda and the beginning of the Via Dolorosa stands the Church of St. Anne, one of the best-preserved Crusader churches in Jerusalem and an important Catholic pilgrimage site in the Holy Land. For centuries, Christian tradition has honored this sacred place as the home of Saints Joachim and Anne, the parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary. But there is another reason pilgrims come here. Ancient Christian tradition also connects this area with the birth of the Virgin Mary. Before she held the Child Jesus, stood faithfully at the foot of the Cross, and gave God her complete “yes,” Mary was first a little girl raised by Saints Joachim and Anne. The present Church of St. Anne was built by the Crusaders in the 12th century over earlier Christian remains. After Saladin captured Jerusalem, the church was preserved and later used as a Muslim school. Today, Catholic pilgrims come to this Marian shrine to pray, sing, and reflect on Mary’s life. Beneath the church is an ancient stone grotto traditionally honored as the place of her birth. Think about that for a moment. On Mother Mary’s birthday, Christians around the world remember the beginning of the earthly life of the woman God chose to become the Mother of Jesus Christ. And Mary’s entire life points beyond herself to Him. 💬 If you could say one thing to Mother Mary on her birthday today, what would you tell her?

The devil said “no” to God. Mary’s whole life became a “yes.” ❤️‍🔥 Today, September 8, Catholics celebrate the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary. 🙏 Long before Mary held Jesus in her arms, stood beside His Cross, or became our spiritual mother, she entered the world as a little girl chosen for a unique place in God’s plan. Her birth was a sign that God was preparing the way for the coming of Jesus Christ. Years later, Mary would freely give God her humble “yes,” and through her, the Son of God would take on human flesh. Satan chose pride, rebellion, and self-will. Mary chose humility, obedience, and total surrender to God. Her “yes” stands as the complete opposite of his rebellion. Through her faithful obedience, Mary took part in God’s plan that would bring Jesus Christ into the world to defeat sin, death, and the devil. So today, take a moment to thank God for the gift of Our Lady. Pray a Rosary, ask for her intercession, or simply tell her: Happy Birthday, Mama Mary! ❤️‍🔥 Blessed Mother, pray for us and always lead us closer to your Son, Jesus. 💬 If you could give Mother Mary one birthday message today, what would you say to her? 🔁 Share this today as a small act of love for Our Lady and help remind someone else to honor the Mother of Jesus on her birthday. 🌹

What Padre Pio’s mother taught him to do when someone swore When Padre Pio was growing up, his mother taught him how to "repair" the damage done by swearing. His initial reaction would be to run away. Author C. Bernard Ruffin relates the following story in his book, Padre Pio: The True Story. 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘺 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘍𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘓𝘶𝘪𝘨𝘪 𝘖𝘳𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘴 “𝘢 𝘣𝘰𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳,” 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘓𝘶𝘪𝘨𝘪 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘴 “𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯,” 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘶𝘱𝘰𝘯 𝘍𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪, 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥, 𝘫𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘥. Padre Pio's mother did not want her children to associate with other children who used foul language. Padre Pio interpreted that seriously and would run away from anyone who was swearing or cursing. At the same time, his mother also taught him to "repair" the damage done. 𝘉𝘦𝘱𝘱𝘢 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘷𝘶𝘭𝘨𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘨𝘦. 𝘐𝘯 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦, 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 “𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘳” 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, “𝘉𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘥!” — 𝘢 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯. As he grew older, Padre Pio stopped running away from people who swore, but likely tried to do his best to "repair" the damage of foul langauge. It's possible that he would have been tempted to use foul language as well, as many of us are tempted on a daily basis. He was human, just like us. Whatever may have happened later in his life, Padre Pio's mother can teach us all a lesson on how to respond positively when confronted with language that offends God.

Before the Hail Mary,there was this: The Oldest known prayer to the Mother of God. Prayed by early Christians during persecution. It's still powerful today. This isn't just a historical relic,it's a shield !. A cry for help the Church has never stopped praying... We fly to thy patronage, O Holy Mother of God. Despise not our petitions on our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen

I SMILE WITH FAVOR UPON MY REMNANT FAITHFUL "Please realize in the depths of your heart that all sin proceeds from a proud heart. Pride is a disordered self-love. The soul chooses sin because he loves the sin more than God and neighbor. Sin is self-serving, you see. The sins most prolific and wounding to My Heart of Love today are those sins against chastity, life and innocence. If all the sins of every generation were combined, the sins of this generation would still outnumber them. But My Love is patient and full of Mercy. I smile with favor upon My Remnant Faithful. They alone withstand My Wrath and hold back My Arm of Justice with the help of My Mother. The Holy Mass and the Holy Rosary together hold a great impact on the Scale of Justice. Devotion to Our United Hearts is third in this order of power against evil. The spirituality of the Chambers of Our United Hearts is great enough to pull the world back onto the path of righteousness. Therefore, along with the Rosary of the Unborn, propagate the little Chaplet of the United Hearts which will serve to lead many into the depths of these Chambers." - Jesus 9.7.2002 THANK YOU FOR COMING AND BELIEVING "Thank you for coming and for believing. Understand that this Holy Love Message I send My Mother to you with is part of My Mercy in these last days. Believe it. Live it." - Jesus 9.7.1998 THIS IS HOW TO CHANGE THE ATTITUDES OF THE WORLD "My brothers and sisters, it is very important that children are given the example of living in Holy Love by their parents. Thus, they will show them how to be understanding, forgiving, kind to one another. Compassion will be part of their upbringing and they will carry all these gifts and the essence of Holy Love into the community as adults. This is how to change the attitudes of the world." - St. Joseph 9.7.2014 HIGHLIGHT MESSAGES FOR THE DAY "I have come to ask those who hear these Messages on the Chambers of the United Hearts to stop judging the Messenger (Maureen Sweeney-Kyle) and to live the Message. Who among you, after all, deems himself worthy to receive such a Message. In Truth, no one is worthy. Yet, this Message has been freely given to the world through God's Love and Mercy. The choice He made as His Messenger--though seemingly unlikely--nevertheless was God's choice. If you want to know the Heart of God, listen to and follow these Messages that lead you into His Heart. If you wish to know how you will be judged for all eternity, read the Messages. If you wish to become a saint, adhere to these Messages until your heart is one with them. No one can truly follow this Spiritual Journey without being drawn into the Divine Will of God, and without being drawn into a deeply sacramental life. Look past any flaws you perceive in God's choice as His Messenger. After all, God cannot be mistaken. Look past the lack of high-powered approvals that, in Truth, are not necessary for your belief in this Revelation. In the future when approvals come, you will have missed a golden opportunity to become holy--even a saint." - St. Thomas Aquinas 9.7.2002 "My brothers and sisters, the reason I continue to come here is that through these Messages of Holy and Divine Love, I desire to establish within each heart a new kingdom, the Kingdom of the New Jerusalem and of My Father's Divine Will. In this way, victory will be imminent." - Jesus 9.7.2007 "My brothers and sisters, surrender your hearts to the Divine Will of My Eternal Father, thereby trusting in His Provision, which is All-Powerful and All-Embracing; then fear nothing but only trust, and you will see how you will be at peace." - Jesus 9.7.2010

Fiat!

Today, September 8, 2026, we celebrate the birth of our Blessed Mother! ❤️‍🔥 Happy Birthday, Mama Mary! 🌹 God chose you for a beautiful mission, and your faithful “yes” helped bring Jesus, our Savior, into the world. And no matter where Mary has appeared in approved apparitions, it is always the same Mother. Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Fátima, and the other titles we love all point to the same Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus and our spiritual mother. On your birthday, we honor you and ask you to keep leading us closer to your Son. Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen. 💬 If you could give Mama Mary one birthday message today, what would you say to her? 🌹💙 🔁 Share this post today as a small way to honor Mama Mary on her birthday and remind others how deeply loved our Blessed Mother is. 🙏

A shout of victory rises from the enemy, ...But no sooner is the Pope dead than another takes his place. “The captains of the auxiliary ships elected him so quickly that the news of the Pope’s death coincides with that of his successor’s election. The enemy’s self-assurance wanes. “Breaking through all resistance, the new Pope steers his ship safely between the two columns; first, to the one surmounted by the Host, and then the other, topped by the statue of the Virgin. ..." Prophetic dream of St Dom Bosco

The spirit of prophecy “In every age, men have been divinely instructed in matters pertaining to the salvation of the elect ... and in every age there have been people possessed by the spirit of prophecy, not for the purpose of proclaiming new doctrines, but of guiding human actions.” - St. Thomas Aquinas

Her answer to a suffering nation was just five words: “Pray the rosary every day.” Most Catholics have probably never heard this story. But in 1877, during a painful time in Poland’s history, two young girls said the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to them in the village of Gietrzwałd. Polish Catholics were living under Prussian rule. Their language was being restricted in schools, and their faith and culture were under growing pressure. Then something happened that deeply moved the people. The two visionaries, 13-year-old Justyna Szafryńska and 12-year-old Barbara Samulowska, said Mary spoke to them in Polish. For people who feared losing their language and identity, that detail carried enormous meaning. The apparitions began on June 27, 1877, and continued through September. The girls brought questions about suffering, the Church, and the troubles people were facing. Mary’s answer was simple: → “Pray the rosary, and your problems will be solved.” She also said: → “I wish you to recite the rosary every day.” She did not give them a political plan or some complicated new devotion. She pointed them back to prayer. That message spread, and pilgrims began coming to Gietrzwałd in large numbers. Many also visited the nearby spring connected with the apparitions, where reports of healings began to circulate among the faithful. A century later, in 1977, the local bishop formally approved the apparitions, making Gietrzwałd the only Marian apparition in Poland officially recognized by the Catholic Church. And maybe this is the part we should sit with. When fear, pressure, or uncertainty takes over, we usually look everywhere for an answer. But Our Lady kept pointing people back to the Rosary. 💬 So here’s the question: if you truly believed prayer could change more than you can see, would the Rosary have a bigger place in your life right now?

The Miracle Prayer Lord, Jesus, I come before You, just as I am. I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins, please forgive me. In Your name, I forgive all others for what they have done against me. I renounce Satan, the evil spirits and all their works. I give You my entire self. Lord Jesus, now and forever, I invite You into my life Jesus. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Heal me, change me, strengthen me in body, soul, and spirit. Come Lord Jesus, cover me with Your precious blood, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit, I love You, Jesus. I praise You, Jesus. I thank You, Jesus. I shall follow You every day of my life. Amen.

The Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, one of the oldest Marian celebrations, underscores Mary’s unique role in salvation history as the one chosen to bear the Son of God. While Scripture does not explicitly record Mary’s birth, tradition holds that she was born to Saints Joachim and Anne, whose faith and righteousness prepared the way for her divine mission. The origins of this feast trace back to the early Church, with evidence of its celebration in Jerusalem by the 5th century, possibly linked to the dedication of a church near the Pool of Bethesda, believed to be near Mary’s birthplace. By the 7th century, the feast spread to Rome and became widely observed in the Western Church. It is celebrated exactly nine months after the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8, which commemorates Mary’s conception without original sin, a dogma central to Catholic belief. Theologically, the Nativity of Mary is seen as a moment of hope, marking the dawn of salvation. Mary’s birth signifies God’s preparation for the Incarnation, as she would become the vessel through which Jesus entered the world. Her life of purity, humility, and obedience serves as a model for all the faithful, emphasizing her role as the “new Eve” who cooperates fully with God’s plan. The feast invites reflection on God’s providence and the importance of Mary’s fiat—her “yes” to God’s will. The Feast of the Nativity of Mary encourages Catholics to contemplate her unique place in God’s plan and to emulate her virtues. It serves as a reminder of the hope and grace that her birth brought to humanity, preparing the way for Christ’s redemptive mission. Through this celebration, the Church honors Mary as the Mother of God and a powerful intercessor with her Divine Son.

The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
    creator of heaven and earth;
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
    He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
        and born of the Virgin Mary.
    He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
        was crucified, died, and was buried.
    He descended to the dead.
    On the third day he rose again.
    He ascended into heaven,
        and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
    He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
    the holy catholic Church,
    the communion of saints,
    the forgiveness of sins
    the resurrection of the body,
    and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Lord be with you.
And also with you.
Let us pray.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

V. Show us your mercy, O Lord;
R. And grant us your salvation.
V. Clothe your ministers with righteousness;
R. Let your people sing with joy.
V. Give peace, O Lord, in all the world;
R. For only in you can we live in safety.
V. Lord, keep this nation under your care;
R. And guide us in the way of justice and truth.
V. Let your way be known upon earth;
R. Your saving health among all nations.
V. Let not the needy, O Lord, be forgotten;
R. Nor the hope of the poor be taken away.
V. Create in us clean hearts, O God;
R. And sustain us with your Holy Spirit.

Lord God, almighty and everlasting Father, you have brought us in safety to this new day: Preserve us with your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin, nor be overcome by adversity; and in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

O God, the author of peace and lover of concord, to know you is eternal life and to serve you is perfect freedom: Defend us, your humble servants, in all assaults of our enemies; that we, surely trusting in your defense, may not fear the power of any adversaries; through the might of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Almighty and everlasting God, by whose Spirit the whole body of your faithful people is governed and sanctified: Receive our supplications and prayers which we offer before you for all members of your holy Church, that in their vocation and ministry they may truly and devoutly serve you; through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Let us pray for the needs of the church and the world
to God who raised Jesus to new life.

We name the prayers and thanksgivings of our lives.

Loving God,
open our ears to hear your word
and draw us closer to you,
that the whole world may be one with you
as you are one with us in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Prayer of St. Chrysostom:

Almighty God, you have given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplication to you; and you have promised through your well-beloved Son that when two or three are gathered together in his Name you will be in the midst of them: Fulfill now, O Lord, our desires and petitions as may be best for us; granting us in this world knowledge of your truth, and in the age to come life everlasting. Amen.

Let us bless the Lord.
Thanks be to God.

May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in
believing through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
