Om oss
Centrum för Andlig Hjälp
grundades i augusti 1990 med målet att främja andlig-terapeutiska aktiviteter och att hjälpa människor med olika lidanden och smärtor inom det antropologiska området. Handlingsfältet är andligt, eftersom det är anden som befriar och som överskrider det psykiska och somatiska riket i människan. Anden är den underbara verkligheten i människan och förmågan att resa sig från sitt nuvarande lidande, att motsätta sig alla falska föreställningar och att bestämma för sitt eget liv.
Genom att arbeta i den andliga världen kan människor tolka betydelsen av offer, lidande, död samt meningen med människans och världens existens. Dessa områden ligger utanför läkares och psykiatrikers räckvidd och är nödvändiga för att arbeta med patienter. Genom att respektera människans andliga lagar kan mycket uppnås i behandlingen av människans mentala och andliga lidande.
För närvarande erbjuder Center for Spiritual Help individuell hagioterapihjälp, hagioterapimöten hålls på onsdagar, hagioterapimöten för unga på torsdagar och hagioterapimöten för barn andra lördagen i månaden.

Vid den tiden vandrade Jesus från stad till stad och från by till by och förkunnade budskapet om Guds rike. Did you know that Padre Pio celebrated his final Mass on September 22, 1968, at 5:00 a.m?
It took place in the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy. Frail and physically exhausted, he was on the altar for the last time just hours before his death.
Padre Pio initially intended to celebrate a "Low Mass" due to his severe fatigue. However, seeing the massiv crowd of pilgrims, he decided to celebrate a full
Solemn Mass despite his failing health.
Later that night, he renewed his religious vows and received the last rites.
He passed away peacefully at
2:30 a.m. on September 23, 1968, with his final words being "Jesus, Mary".
~POWERFUL HEALING PRAYER ATTRIBUTED TO ST.PADRE PIO
Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me. I thank you for sending your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free. I trust in your power and grace that sustain and restore me.

If you’re feeling depressed, remember that you’re not alone. God is with you always. Don’t be afraid to reach out to people in your family, your church, or your friend circles. Ask them to pray with and for you, and continue to pray each day, asking God to draw you closer to Himself.

Dear Lord, thank you for being my constant in an ever-changing world. Please steady me when I feel unstable and protect me from life’s storms.
Help me understand the roots of my depression, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and guide me to the appropriate help. Thank you for understanding my struggles, as Jesus himself faced deep emotional pain.
I ask for someone to support me, to share my burden when it becomes too heavy. I’m grateful for your grace and the community around me.
Use this time to deepen my relationship with you and show your strength in my weakness. Help me remember that I am defined by your love and Jesus’s sacrifice, not by what my mind tells me. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you that you never change, even when everything around me is changing and unpredictable. (Hebrews 13:8) Thank you that you are stable, even when I feel so very unstable. (Isaiah 33:6) It feels like Satan has been whipping me around! Please sustain me, protect me, and enable me to stand. (1 John 4:4; Psalm 28:7)
I know that because sin entered the world, all of creation is under a curse–all creation groans. (Romans 8:22) Because of this, I struggle physically, emotionally and spiritually. Thank you for how my body is made, and that it sends me warning signals to tell me that I need help. Right now my brain and emotions are telling me that something isn’t right.
Help me to see if there is something physical that is causing my depression. Help me to sift through my circumstances to see if there is a need for change in some way. If I am experiencing depression as a result of a spiritual battle, please bring that to light and show me the best way to fight that battle.
Please lead me to the right source for help. Thank you for understanding what I am going through (Hebrews 4:15), and thank you that Your Word tells me that even Your Son went through hard times emotionally. There were times that He was distressed, grieved, faced loneliness, experienced deep sorrow, and after the death of John He went into isolation (Matthew 14:13). He cried in prayer (Hebrews 5:7-9), and at times he was overwhelmingly sad (Isaiah 53:3). There was even a time that he was afraid his body would not survive the anguish he felt. (Matthew 26:38)
I pray that You would send someone to help bear my burden. (Galatians 6:2) Thank you for again reminding me of how weak I am, and for the body of Christ that you have provided to help bear burdens when we grow too weary to bear them alone. I need someone to come along side me, take my arms, wrap them around their neck, and help me walk until I am strong enough to walk on my own. (Ecclesiastes 4:9)
Thank you for the grace that you have provided. (Hebrews 4:16) I pray You will use this difficult time to cause me to go deeper in my relationship with You, and that You would get the glory for anything that is produced in me. (James 1) Thank you for how you are going to use this time in my life and for all you are doing through this depression. Thank you that You have allowed my weakness to manifest itself in the form of depression, so that You can work more of Your image into my life. (Galatians 2:20; Galatians 4:19)
Thank you that I am not defined by this weakness. Since I am Your child, I am defined by what You accomplished on the cross. Because of Christ’s death on the cross, I can wake up every morning and live life knowing that no matter what I do, think, say, or feel–the cross covers it. Because You offered up Your own beloved Son, I can have peace with You and can face each day with fresh hope and grace. Help me to focus on what is true, and not focus on how I feel. As I sit before the cross, help me to gain a new appreciation for what it actually means for me on a daily basis.
Help me to embrace my weakness as a gift. Remind me that my weakness allows You to work through me even when I am so very weak and feel as though I can do nothing. Bible Verses to Help Fight Depression and Anxiety
These are some of our favorite Scriptures to help fight depression and the anxiety that rises. Find Scripture that will encourage us to find peace and joy in the midst of depressing circumstances and feelings. You can find even more in Bible Verses for Fighting Depression
1 Peter 5:7 – Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Psalm 23:3 – He restores my soul. He leads me on the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Deuteronomy 31:8 – The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you; do not be discouraged.
Psalm 3:3 – But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.Among the many miracles attributed to Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, the miracle at the Carmelite Monastery in Gallipoli, Italy remains one of the most carefully recorded and spiritually significant. It was not only an answer to prayer but a profound confirmation of the saint’s enduring promise. She vowed to spend her Heaven doing good on earth and to affirm that her path of spiritual childhood and trust is a sure one.
For three years, the community in Gallipoli had suffered deep poverty. Often, they lacked not just money but even basic food. The sisters had read Story of a Soul and had come to know the Little Flower’s message of confidence in God. The prioress, Mother Maria Carmela of the Sacred Heart, led the community in a triduum to the Holy Trinity through the intercession of Sister Thérèse. The triduum ended on January 16, 1910.
That night, around three in the morning, Mother Maria Carmela, sick, exhausted, and overwhelmed by the burdens of the monastery, fell into a light sleep. In her own words:
“Then I fell asleep, and in a dream, it would seem to me, I felt a hand touch me, draw the bedclothes about my face, and cover me up tenderly. I thought one of the sisters had come in to perform this act of charity. Without opening my eyes, I gently protested that the movement of air might be harmful, since I was covered in perspiration. But a sweet voice I had never heard before replied,
‘No. It is a good act that I am doing. Listen. The Good God makes use of the inhabitants of Heaven, as well as those of earth, in order to assist His servants. Here are 500 lire with which you will pay the debt of your community.’”
The prioress responded that the debt was only 300 lire. The nun answered:
“The rest will be over and above. But as you may not keep this money in your cell, come with me.”
Although the night was bitterly cold, and she was bathed in perspiration, Mother Maria Carmela suddenly found herself walking outside her cell. She described what happened next:
“The heavenly apparition divined my thoughts, adding with a smile,
‘Bilocation will help us.’
Suddenly I found myself outside my cell, in the company of a young Carmelite nun, whose veil and robes shone with a brightness from Paradise that served to light up our way. She led me downstairs to the turn-room or parlour and made me open a wooden box wherein was enclosed the bill which had to be paid. There she deposited the 500 lire.”
Overwhelmed with love and gratitude, Mother Maria Carmela exclaimed, “O my holy Mother,” believing her to be Saint Teresa of Jesus. But the radiant figure corrected her gently:
“No, I am not our holy Mother Saint Teresa. I am the servant of God, Sister Thérèse of Lisieux. Today in Heaven and on earth, we keep the feast of the Holy Name of Jesus.”
Before departing, the saint placed her hand on the prioress’s veil as if to adjust it, embraced her with affection, and slowly withdrew. As she left, Mother Maria Carmela called out to her:
“Wait. You might mistake your way.”
And Saint Thérèse, smiling with heavenly calm, answered:
“No, no. My way is sure, and I am not mistaken in following it.”
The next morning, despite her weakness, the prioress went to the choir to receive Holy Communion. She told two sacristans of the dream, and they urged her to examine the box. When they opened it, there inside were ten 50-lire notes. Exactly 500 lire, just as in the vision. One of the notes remains preserved in the monastery to this day.
The bishop initiated a canonical investigation. A signed testimony was sent to Rome, and Mother Maria Carmela wrote directly to Mother Agnes of Jesus, Thérèse’s sister. She was especially moved by the final words of the vision:
“My way is sure, and I am not mistaken in following it.”
They echoed what Thérèse had once told her novices during her final illness:
“If my way of trust and love is false, I will come back to warn you. If it is true, you will know it.”
The miracle at Gallipoli was her return, and her confirmation.
Signs Continued
In the months that followed, further unexpected amounts appeared in the convent’s accounts. A surplus of 25 lire, and later, 50 lire, 5 lire, and 100 lire at various times. Each time, Thérèse appeared again, bringing not only funds but words of spiritual encouragement.
On the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, she gave the prioress a 5-lire note and placed it beneath a statue of the Sacred Heart. On August 6, the promised 100 lire arrived. Thérèse said:
“The power of God takes away or gives with the same ease in matters temporal as in matters spiritual.”
On the eve of her exhumation in Lisieux, she again appeared to the prioress. She spoke of future miracles through her remains and revealed that she had suffered deeply in silence on earth. The sisters began to refer to her not only as their benefactress but as their invisible companion. Many received personal graces through her visits.
A Final Confirmation
On the first anniversary of the miracle, January 16, 1911, Bishop Giannattasio of Nardo sent a sealed envelope to the monastery. It contained a 500-lire note, along with a card inscribed:
“In memoriam. ‘My way is a sure one. I am not mistaken.’ Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus to Sister Maria Carmela. Gallipoli, January 16, 1910. Pray for me daily.”
The envelope was to remain sealed until the exact date. When opened before the bishop’s eyes, the sisters found not only the untouched inner envelope but also four additional notes totaling 300 lire. No one had placed them there. The bishop examined the seal, still intact. He recognized the sign and said:
“It is not only a miracle of provision. It is a confirmation of her words. Heaven has spoken.”
Her Way Is Sure
Saint Thérèse once told her novices:
“Have faith in all I have told you about the confidence we should have in God. Follow it faithfully. I shall come back and shall tell you whether I am mistaken, or if my way is sure.”
She came back. She told us.
Her way is sure. I touched the Crown of Thorns
In 2012, I venerated the Crown of Thorns in Notre Dame Cathedral — a relic of the Passion of Jesus that has been kept in Paris since 1239. It was the most intense spiritual experience of my pilgrimage life. Here is what happened.
The most intense experience on pilgrimage was the first time I venerated the Crown of Thorns in Notre Dame Cathedral in 2012.
This holy relic of the passion of Jesus has been kept in Paris since 1239 when the good King Louis obtained it from the emperor in Constantinople (who had pawned it to a Venetian bank).
The reliquary (or container) for the Crown of Thorns is clear quartz crystal cut into the shape of a ring and decorated with gold and jewels. But the reliquary only contains the rushes. Unfortunately, over the centuries, the thorns were separated from the rushes and distributed all over Europe. There are thorns in many places – from the British Museum in London (which has one) to Oveido Cathedral in Spain (which has five).
On the first Friday of each month (and every Friday during Lent), there is a solemn service for veneration of the Crown of Thorns. Just like the medieval period, this involves the best “bells and smells” of the Catholic Church. The relic is introduced with a grand procession, some prayers are said, there is a bit of singing and then an opportunity to touch the relic. Most people kiss it and many also place their rosaries on it.
Digressing for a moment, it is helpful to be aware that in the Roman Catholic tradition, a relic of the first class is a part of the body of a saint or any of the objects used in the Crucifixion that carried the blood of Jesus. A relic of the second class is anything known to have been touched or used by a saint. A relic of the third class is a devotional object touched to a first-class relic. So placing my rosary on the relic of the Crown of Thorns made it a third class relic.
I have venerated the Crown of Thorns on three occasions. It is a humbling and beautiful experience. But that first time was extraordinary. There were thousands in the church for the ceremony and we sat in the front of the congregation. We waited over an hour for our turn to join the line which was very well managed by the Knights of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. I used this hour to pray and to reflect on the life of Jesus. I also mused about what compelled me to seek out this unusual experience. And then it was time.
I had been experiencing a lot of anxiety about the ceremony. Principally, I was worried that I would be required to receive Holy Communion before kissing the thorns. And I knew I could not do this because I had not been to confession (for decades). As a precaution, I spent the morning confessing to a friend. While useful for my soul, this was neither necessary nor, for a Catholic, sufficient. But I learned on that first visit that anyone, regardless of religion, can venerate the Crown of Thorns. And that Holy Communion is not part of the service.
As the line progressed closer to the relic, the experience became hyper-real. I was having the experience but also watching it from above. I was praying earnestly to feel the energy of Jesus but I was also a little distracted. I wondered what they cleaned the reliquary with after each person kissed it… And I wondered what would happen if a nutter tried to harm the relic… I also wondered if I would have a choice of the holy nail, the piece of the true cross or the thorns.
I kissed the relic of the Crown of Thorns. Then I placed my rosary on it, followed by the handful of rosaries I was carrying for others. I prayed for the rosaries to absorb divine energy and for all who used them to feel this. Then I started to worry that I was being greedy; that I was having too much face time with the relic. But the tears streaming down my face assured the attendants of my sincerity and they did not rush me.
We sat in the second row to give thanks. And then I it happened. As I closed my eyes my body started trembling. My heart had never felt so full. Nor had I ever felt so much energy flowing through me. Quite frankly, I felt like I was sitting on a motorcycle travelling at 200 kilometres an hour. This was a deep and unexpected cleansing. Many tears of consolation and gratitude came with the realisation of profound grace. The experience was truly mystical. It was communion.

A few weeks ago, I visited a church in the Midlands called Harpswell. They have some pre-Reformation church pews which were well worth the visit but they also had a detached bench end which features a depiction of the Five Wounds of Jesus. I decided to look into this devotion a bit more, but in doing this I realise I have bitten off more than I can chew! So this is going to be a rather brief look at it.
The Five Wounds was a popular medieval devotion and Primers or Books of the Hours all had prayers to the Wounds. It may seem a bit strange to have a picture of disembodied wounds to our eyes, but for medieval people, physical representations of religious realities made them present to them. This was, above all, an aid to prayer.
The Five Wounds are, of course, the ones which Jesus showed to his disciples after the Resurrection, as proof of his rising from the dead. In the Gospel of John, Jesus invites Thomas to put his fingers in the wounds of his hands and feet, and put his hand in his side.
This carving was one of the bench ends in this church, likely made in the late 15th/early 16th century. Here are two of the surviving benches.
You can see how these bench ends are designed to have a painting in the space at the end and were most likely painted all over. After the Reformation, the paintings, which were presumably of saints, would have been scrubbed off. The Five Wounds Devotion, being an indulgenced prayer and a Mass said especially for the dead, fell out of favour with the new Protestant overlords. This is a carving rather than a painting so could not easily be removed. It could have been chiselled off, but someone, a sympathetic Catholic clinging to their faith presumably, must have taken the decision to detach it and hide it somewhere. Perhaps there was a chapel in this church dedicated to this devotion, perhaps it was just a bench that some local person had paid for and didn’t want to see destroyed, who knows? And so it survived.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you that you never change, even when everything around me is changing and unpredictable. (Hebrews 13:8) Thank you that you are stable, even when I feel so very unstable. (Isaiah 33:6) It feels like Satan has been whipping me around! Please sustain me, protect me, and enable me to stand. (1 John 4:4; Psalm 28:7)
I know that because sin entered the world, all of creation is under a curse–all creation groans. (Romans 8:22) Because of this, I struggle physically, emotionally and spiritually. Thank you for how my body is made, and that it sends me warning signals to tell me that I need help. Right now my brain and emotions are telling me that something isn’t right.
Help me to see if there is something physical that is causing my depression. Help me to sift through my circumstances to see if there is a need for change in some way. If I am experiencing depression as a result of a spiritual battle, please bring that to light and show me the best way to fight that battle.
Please lead me to the right source for help. Thank you for understanding what I am going through (Hebrews 4:15), and thank you that Your Word tells me that even Your Son went through hard times emotionally. There were times that He was distressed, grieved, faced loneliness, experienced deep sorrow, and after the death of John He went into isolation (Matthew 14:13). He cried in prayer (Hebrews 5:7-9), and at times he was overwhelmingly sad (Isaiah 53:3). There was even a time that he was afraid his body would not survive the anguish he felt. (Matthew 26:38)
I pray that You would send someone to help bear my burden. (Galatians 6:2) Thank you for again reminding me of how weak I am, and for the body of Christ that you have provided to help bear burdens when we grow too weary to bear them alone. I need someone to come along side me, take my arms, wrap them around their neck, and help me walk until I am strong enough to walk on my own. (Ecclesiastes 4:9)
Thank you for the grace that you have provided. (Hebrews 4:16) I pray You will use this difficult time to cause me to go deeper in my relationship with You, and that You would get the glory for anything that is produced in me. (James 1) Thank you for how you are going to use this time in my life and for all you are doing through this depression. Thank you that You have allowed my weakness to manifest itself in the form of depression, so that You can work more of Your image into my life. (Galatians 2:20; Galatians 4:19)
Thank you that I am not defined by this weakness. Since I am Your child, I am defined by what You accomplished on the cross. Because of Christ’s death on the cross, I can wake up every morning and live life knowing that no matter what I do, think, say, or feel–the cross covers it. Because You offered up Your own beloved Son, I can have peace with You and can face each day with fresh hope and grace. Help me to focus on what is true, and not focus on how I feel. As I sit before the cross, help me to gain a new appreciation for what it actually means for me on a daily basis.
Help me to embrace my weakness as a gift. Remind me that my weakness allows You to work through me even when I am so very weak and feel as though I can do nothing. 1 Peter 5:7 – Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Psalm 23:3 – He restores my soul. He leads me on the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Deuteronomy 31:8 – The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you; do not be discouraged.
Psalm 3:3 – But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.Among the many miracles attributed to Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, the miracle at the Carmelite Monastery in Gallipoli, Italy remains one of the most carefully recorded and spiritually significant. It was not only an answer to prayer but a profound confirmation of the saint’s enduring promise. She vowed to spend her Heaven doing good on earth and to affirm that her path of spiritual childhood and trust is a sure one.
For three years, the community in Gallipoli had suffered deep poverty. Often, they lacked not just money but even basic food. The sisters had read Story of a Soul and had come to know the Little Flower’s message of confidence in God. The prioress, Mother Maria Carmela of the Sacred Heart, led the community in a triduum to the Holy Trinity through the intercession of Sister Thérèse. The triduum ended on January 16, 1910.
That night, around three in the morning, Mother Maria Carmela, sick, exhausted, and overwhelmed by the burdens of the monastery, fell into a light sleep. In her own words:
“Then I fell asleep, and in a dream, it would seem to me, I felt a hand touch me, draw the bedclothes about my face, and cover me up tenderly. I thought one of the sisters had come in to perform this act of charity. Without opening my eyes, I gently protested that the movement of air might be harmful, since I was covered in perspiration. But a sweet voice I had never heard before replied,
‘No. It is a good act that I am doing. Listen. The Good God makes use of the inhabitants of Heaven, as well as those of earth, in order to assist His servants. Here are 500 lire with which you will pay the debt of your community.’”
The prioress responded that the debt was only 300 lire. The nun answered:
“The rest will be over and above. But as you may not keep this money in your cell, come with me.”
Although the night was bitterly cold, and she was bathed in perspiration, Mother Maria Carmela suddenly found herself walking outside her cell. She described what happened next:
“The heavenly apparition divined my thoughts, adding with a smile,
‘Bilocation will help us.’
Suddenly I found myself outside my cell, in the company of a young Carmelite nun, whose veil and robes shone with a brightness from Paradise that served to light up our way. She led me downstairs to the turn-room or parlour and made me open a wooden box wherein was enclosed the bill which had to be paid. There she deposited the 500 lire.”
Overwhelmed with love and gratitude, Mother Maria Carmela exclaimed, “O my holy Mother,” believing her to be Saint Teresa of Jesus. But the radiant figure corrected her gently:
“No, I am not our holy Mother Saint Teresa. I am the servant of God, Sister Thérèse of Lisieux. Today in Heaven and on earth, we keep the feast of the Holy Name of Jesus.”
Before departing, the saint placed her hand on the prioress’s veil as if to adjust it, embraced her with affection, and slowly withdrew. As she left, Mother Maria Carmela called out to her:
“Wait. You might mistake your way.”
And Saint Thérèse, smiling with heavenly calm, answered:
“No, no. My way is sure, and I am not mistaken in following it.”
The next morning, despite her weakness, the prioress went to the choir to receive Holy Communion. She told two sacristans of the dream, and they urged her to examine the box. When they opened it, there inside were ten 50-lire notes. Exactly 500 lire, just as in the vision. One of the notes remains preserved in the monastery to this day.
The bishop initiated a canonical investigation. A signed testimony was sent to Rome, and Mother Maria Carmela wrote directly to Mother Agnes of Jesus, Thérèse’s sister. She was especially moved by the final words of the vision:
“My way is sure, and I am not mistaken in following it.”
They echoed what Thérèse had once told her novices during her final illness:
“If my way of trust and love is false, I will come back to warn you. If it is true, you will know it.”
The miracle at Gallipoli was her return, and her confirmation.
Signs Continued
In the months that followed, further unexpected amounts appeared in the convent’s accounts. A surplus of 25 lire, and later, 50 lire, 5 lire, and 100 lire at various times. Each time, Thérèse appeared again, bringing not only funds but words of spiritual encouragement.
On the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, she gave the prioress a 5-lire note and placed it beneath a statue of the Sacred Heart. On August 6, the promised 100 lire arrived. Thérèse said:
“The power of God takes away or gives with the same ease in matters temporal as in matters spiritual.”
On the eve of her exhumation in Lisieux, she again appeared to the prioress. She spoke of future miracles through her remains and revealed that she had suffered deeply in silence on earth. The sisters began to refer to her not only as their benefactress but as their invisible companion. Many received personal graces through her visits.
A Final Confirmation
On the first anniversary of the miracle, January 16, 1911, Bishop Giannattasio of Nardo sent a sealed envelope to the monastery. It contained a 500-lire note, along with a card inscribed:
“In memoriam. ‘My way is a sure one. I am not mistaken.’ Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus to Sister Maria Carmela. Gallipoli, January 16, 1910. Pray for me daily.”
The envelope was to remain sealed until the exact date. When opened before the bishop’s eyes, the sisters found not only the untouched inner envelope but also four additional notes totaling 300 lire. No one had placed them there. The bishop examined the seal, still intact. He recognized the sign and said:
“It is not only a miracle of provision. It is a confirmation of her words. Heaven has spoken.”
Her Way Is Sure
Saint Thérèse once told her novices:
“Have faith in all I have told you about the confidence we should have in God. Follow it faithfully. I shall come back and shall tell you whether I am mistaken, or if my way is sure.”
She came back. She told us.
Her way is sure. And we can walk it with confidence.We joined the procession in Gallipoli (probably centenary of miracle) of St Therese di Lisieux’s relics , we were so honoured to have both experienced her odour of sanctity. Over the Christmas/New Year period, I travelled to Italy with the rosaries. I carried the rosaries to several churches in Rome (the station churches – St Peters; St John in the Lateran, Scala Sancta, Santa Croce in Gethsemane, Santa Maria Maggiore), as well as Santa Maria della Vittoria, St Ignatius and Il Gesu; Calabria, Catania and Assisi.

I carried the rosaries with me to holy sites in Uzbekistan and Japan this year. I particularly focused on sites in Japan honouring St Francis Xavier, placing the rosaries on this relics in Nagasaki (26 Martyrs Museum), Yamaguchi (Church of St Francis Xavier) and Kyoto (St Francis Xavier Cathedral).

I touched the Crown of Thorns
In 2012, I venerated the Crown of Thorns in Notre Dame Cathedral — a relic of the Passion of Jesus that has been kept in Paris since 1239. It was the most intense spiritual experience of my pilgrimage life. Here is what happened.
The most intense experience on pilgrimage was the first time I venerated the Crown of Thorns in Notre Dame Cathedral in 2012.
This holy relic of the passion of Jesus has been kept in Paris since 1239 when the good King Louis obtained it from the emperor in Constantinople (who had pawned it to a Venetian bank).
The reliquary (or container) for the Crown of Thorns is clear quartz crystal cut into the shape of a ring and decorated with gold and jewels. But the reliquary only contains the rushes. Unfortunately, over the centuries, the thorns were separated from the rushes and distributed all over Europe. There are thorns in many places – from the British Museum in London (which has one) to Oveido Cathedral in Spain (which has five).
On the first Friday of each month (and every Friday during Lent), there is a solemn service for veneration of the Crown of Thorns. Just like the medieval period, this involves the best “bells and smells” of the Catholic Church. The relic is introduced with a grand procession, some prayers are said, there is a bit of singing and then an opportunity to touch the relic. Most people kiss it and many also place their rosaries on it.
Digressing for a moment, it is helpful to be aware that in the Roman Catholic tradition, a relic of the first class is a part of the body of a saint or any of the objects used in the Crucifixion that carried the blood of Jesus. A relic of the second class is anything known to have been touched or used by a saint. A relic of the third class is a devotional object touched to a first-class relic. So placing my rosary on the relic of the Crown of Thorns made it a third class relic.
I have venerated the Crown of Thorns on three occasions. It is a humbling and beautiful experience. But that first time was extraordinary. There were thousands in the church for the ceremony and we sat in the front of the congregation. We waited over an hour for our turn to join the line which was very well managed by the Knights of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. I used this hour to pray and to reflect on the life of Jesus. I also mused about what compelled me to seek out this unusual experience. And then it was time.
I had been experiencing a lot of anxiety about the ceremony. Principally, I was worried that I would be required to receive Holy Communion before kissing the thorns. And I knew I could not do this because I had not been to confession (for decades). As a precaution, I spent the morning confessing to a friend. While useful for my soul, this was neither necessary nor, for a Catholic, sufficient. But I learned on that first visit that anyone, regardless of religion, can venerate the Crown of Thorns. And that Holy Communion is not part of the service.
As the line progressed closer to the relic, the experience became hyper-real. I was having the experience but also watching it from above. I was praying earnestly to feel the energy of Jesus but I was also a little distracted. I wondered what they cleaned the reliquary with after each person kissed it… And I wondered what would happen if a nutter tried to harm the relic… I also wondered if I would have a choice of the holy nail, the piece of the true cross or the thorns.
I kissed the relic of the Crown of Thorns. Then I placed my rosary on it, followed by the handful of rosaries I was carrying for others. I prayed for the rosaries to absorb divine energy and for all who used them to feel this. Then I started to worry that I was being greedy; that I was having too much face time with the relic. But the tears streaming down my face assured the attendants of my sincerity and they did not rush me.
We sat in the second row to give thanks. And then I it happened. As I closed my eyes my body started trembling. My heart had never felt so full. Nor had I ever felt so much energy flowing through me. Quite frankly, I felt like I was sitting on a motorcycle travelling at 200 kilometres an hour. This was a deep and unexpected cleansing. Many tears of consolation and gratitude came with the realisation of profound grace. The experience was truly mystical. It was communion.

A few weeks ago, I visited a church in the Midlands called Harpswell. They have some pre-Reformation church pews which were well worth the visit but they also had a detached bench end which features a depiction of the Five Wounds of Jesus. I decided to look into this devotion a bit more, but in doing this I realise I have bitten off more than I can chew! So this is going to be a rather brief look at it.
The Five Wounds was a popular medieval devotion and Primers or Books of the Hours all had prayers to the Wounds. It may seem a bit strange to have a picture of disembodied wounds to our eyes, but for medieval people, physical representations of religious realities made them present to them. This was, above all, an aid to prayer.
The Five Wounds are, of course, the ones which Jesus showed to his disciples after the Resurrection, as proof of his rising from the dead. In the Gospel of John, Jesus invites Thomas to put his fingers in the wounds of his hands and feet, and put his hand in his side.
This carving was one of the bench ends in this church, likely made in the late 15th/early 16th century. Here are two of the surviving benches.
You can see how these bench ends are designed to have a painting in the space at the end and were most likely painted all over. After the Reformation, the paintings, which were presumably of saints, would have been scrubbed off. The Five Wounds Devotion, being an indulgenced prayer and a Mass said especially for the dead, fell out of favour with the new Protestant overlords. This is a carving rather than a painting so could not easily be removed. It could have been chiselled off, but someone, a sympathetic Catholic clinging to their faith presumably, must have taken the decision to detach it and hide it somewhere. Perhaps there was a chapel in this church dedicated to this devotion, perhaps it was just a bench that some local person had paid for and didn’t want to see destroyed, who knows? And so it survived.

Help me to see if there is something physical that is causing my depression. Help me to sift through my circumstances to see if there is a need for change in some way. If I am experiencing depression as a result of a spiritual battle, please bring that to light and show me the best way to fight that battle.
Please lead me to the right source for help. Thank you for understanding what I am going through (Hebrews 4:15), and thank you that Your Word tells me that even Your Son went through hard times emotionally. There were times that He was distressed, grieved, faced loneliness, experienced deep sorrow, and after the death of John He went into isolation (Matthew 14:13). He cried in prayer (Hebrews 5:7-9), and at times he was overwhelmingly sad (Isaiah 53:3). There was even a time that he was afraid his body would not survive the anguish he felt. (Matthew 26:38)
I pray that You would send someone to help bear my burden. (Galatians 6:2) Thank you for again reminding me of how weak I am, and for the body of Christ that you have provided to help bear burdens when we grow too weary to bear them alone. Psalm 3:3 – But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.Among the many miracles attributed to Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, the miracle at the Carmelite Monastery in Gallipoli, Italy remains one of the most carefully recorded and spiritually significant. It was not only an answer to prayer but a profound confirmation of the saint’s enduring promise. She vowed to spend her Heaven doing good on earth and to affirm that her path of spiritual childhood and trust is a sure one.
For three years, the community in Gallipoli had suffered deep poverty. Often, they lacked not just money but even basic food. The sisters had read Story of a Soul and had come to know the Little Flower’s message of confidence in God. The prioress, Mother Maria Carmela of the Sacred Heart, led the community in a triduum to the Holy Trinity through the intercession of Sister Thérèse. The triduum ended on January 16, 1910.
That night, around three in the morning, Mother Maria Carmela, sick, exhausted, and overwhelmed by the burdens of the monastery, fell into a light sleep. In her own words:
“Then I fell asleep, and in a dream, it would seem to me, I felt a hand touch me, draw the bedclothes about my face, and cover me up tenderly. I thought one of the sisters had come in to perform this act of charity. Without opening my eyes, I gently protested that the movement of air might be harmful, since I was covered in perspiration. But a sweet voice I had never heard before replied,
‘No. It is a good act that I am doing. Listen. The Good God makes use of the inhabitants of Heaven, as well as those of earth, in order to assist His servants. Here are 500 lire with which you will pay the debt of your community.’”
The prioress responded that the debt was only 300 lire. The nun answered:
“The rest will be over and above. But as you may not keep this money in your cell, come with me.”
Although the night was bitterly cold, and she was bathed in perspiration, Mother Maria Carmela suddenly found herself walking outside her cell. She described what happened next:
“The heavenly apparition divined my thoughts, adding with a smile,
‘Bilocation will help us.’
Suddenly I found myself outside my cell, in the company of a young Carmelite nun, whose veil and robes shone with a brightness from Paradise that served to light up our way. She led me downstairs to the turn-room or parlour and made me open a wooden box wherein was enclosed the bill which had to be paid. There she deposited the 500 lire.”
Overwhelmed with love and gratitude, Mother Maria Carmela exclaimed, “O my holy Mother,” believing her to be Saint Teresa of Jesus. But the radiant figure corrected her gently:
“No, I am not our holy Mother Saint Teresa. I am the servant of God, Sister Thérèse of Lisieux. Today in Heaven and on earth, we keep the feast of the Holy Name of Jesus.”
Before departing, the saint placed her hand on the prioress’s veil as if to adjust it, embraced her with affection, and slowly withdrew. As she left, Mother Maria Carmela called out to her:
“Wait. You might mistake your way.”
And Saint Thérèse, smiling with heavenly calm, answered:
“No, no. My way is sure, and I am not mistaken in following it.”
The next morning, despite her weakness, the prioress went to the choir to receive Holy Communion. She told two sacristans of the dream, and they urged her to examine the box. When they opened it, there inside were ten 50-lire notes. Exactly 500 lire, just as in the vision. One of the notes remains preserved in the monastery to this day.
The bishop initiated a canonical investigation. A signed testimony was sent to Rome, and Mother Maria Carmela wrote directly to Mother Agnes of Jesus, Thérèse’s sister. She was especially moved by the final words of the vision:
“My way is sure, and I am not mistaken in following it.”
They echoed what Thérèse had once told her novices during her final illness:
“If my way of trust and love is false, I will come back to warn you. If it is true, you will know it.”
The miracle at Gallipoli was her return, and her confirmation.
Signs Continued
In the months that followed, further unexpected amounts appeared in the convent’s accounts. A surplus of 25 lire, and later, 50 lire, 5 lire, and 100 lire at various times. Each time, Thérèse appeared again, bringing not only funds but words of spiritual encouragement.
On the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, she gave the prioress a 5-lire note and placed it beneath a statue of the Sacred Heart. On August 6, the promised 100 lire arrived. Thérèse said:
“The power of God takes away or gives with the same ease in matters temporal as in matters spiritual.”
On the eve of her exhumation in Lisieux, she again appeared to the prioress. She spoke of future miracles through her remains and revealed that she had suffered deeply in silence on earth. The sisters began to refer to her not only as their benefactress but as their invisible companion. Many received personal graces through her visits.
A Final Confirmation
On the first anniversary of the miracle, January 16, 1911, Bishop Giannattasio of Nardo sent a sealed envelope to the monastery. It contained a 500-lire note, along with a card inscribed:
“In memoriam. ‘My way is a sure one. I am not mistaken.’ Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus to Sister Maria Carmela. Gallipoli, January 16, 1910. Pray for me daily.”
The envelope was to remain sealed until the exact date. When opened before the bishop’s eyes, the sisters found not only the untouched inner envelope but also four additional notes totaling 300 lire. No one had placed them there. The bishop examined the seal, still intact. He recognized the sign and said:
“It is not only a miracle of provision. It is a confirmation of her words. Heaven has spoken.”
Her Way Is Sure
Saint Thérèse once told her novices:

I touched the Crown of Thorns
In 2012, I venerated the Crown of Thorns in Notre Dame Cathedral — a relic of the Passion of Jesus that has been kept in Paris since 1239. It was the most intense spiritual experience of my pilgrimage life. Here is what happened.
The most intense experience on pilgrimage was the first time I venerated the Crown of Thorns in Notre Dame Cathedral in 2012.
This holy relic of the passion of Jesus has been kept in Paris since 1239 when the good King Louis obtained it from the emperor in Constantinople (who had pawned it to a Venetian bank).
The reliquary (or container) for the Crown of Thorns is clear quartz crystal cut into the shape of a ring and decorated with gold and jewels. But the reliquary only contains the rushes. Unfortunately, over the centuries, the thorns were separated from the rushes and distributed all over Europe. There are thorns in many places – from the British Museum in London (which has one) to Oveido Cathedral in Spain (which has five).
On the first Friday of each month (and every Friday during Lent), there is a solemn service for veneration of the Crown of Thorns. Just like the medieval period, this involves the best “bells and smells” of the Catholic Church. The relic is introduced with a grand procession, some prayers are said, there is a bit of singing and then an opportunity to touch the relic. Most people kiss it and many also place their rosaries on it.
Digressing for a moment, it is helpful to be aware that in the Roman Catholic tradition, a relic of the first class is a part of the body of a saint or any of the objects used in the Crucifixion that carried the blood of Jesus. A relic of the second class is anything known to have been touched or used by a saint. A relic of the third class is a devotional object touched to a first-class relic. So placing my rosary on the relic of the Crown of Thorns made it a third class relic.
I have venerated the Crown of Thorns on three occasions. It is a humbling and beautiful experience. But that first time was extraordinary. There were thousands in the church for the ceremony and we sat in the front of the congregation. We waited over an hour for our turn to join the line which was very well managed by the Knights of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. I used this hour to pray and to reflect on the life of Jesus. I also mused about what compelled me to seek out this unusual experience. And then it was time.
I had been experiencing a lot of anxiety about the ceremony. Principally, I was worried that I would be required to receive Holy Communion before kissing the thorns. And I knew I could not do this because I had not been to confession (for decades). As a precaution, I spent the morning confessing to a friend. While useful for my soul, this was neither necessary nor, for a Catholic, sufficient. But I learned on that first visit that anyone, regardless of religion, can venerate the Crown of Thorns. And that Holy Communion is not part of the service.
As the line progressed closer to the relic, the experience became hyper-real. I was having the experience but also watching it from above. I was praying earnestly to feel the energy of Jesus but I was also a little distracted. I wondered what they cleaned the reliquary with after each person kissed it… And I wondered what would happen if a nutter tried to harm the relic… I also wondered if I would have a choice of the holy nail, the piece of the true cross or the thorns.
I kissed the relic of the Crown of Thorns. Then I placed my rosary on it, followed by the handful of rosaries I was carrying for others. I prayed for the rosaries to absorb divine energy and for all who used them to feel this. Then I started to worry that I was being greedy; that I was having too much face time with the relic. But the tears streaming down my face assured the attendants of my sincerity and they did not rush me.
We sat in the second row to give thanks. And then I it happened. As I closed my eyes my body started trembling. My heart had never felt so full. Nor had I ever felt so much energy flowing through me. Quite frankly, I felt like I was sitting on a motorcycle travelling at 200 kilometres an hour. This was a deep and unexpected cleansing. Many tears of consolation and gratitude came with the realisation of profound grace. The experience was truly mystical. It was communion.

A few weeks ago, I visited a church in the Midlands called Harpswell. They have some pre-Reformation church pews which were well worth the visit but they also had a detached bench end which features a depiction of the Five Wounds of Jesus. I decided to look into this devotion a bit more, but in doing this I realise I have bitten off more than I can chew! So this is going to be a rather brief look at it.
The Five Wounds was a popular medieval devotion and Primers or Books of the Hours all had prayers to the Wounds. It may seem a bit strange to have a picture of disembodied wounds to our eyes, but for medieval people, physical representations of religious realities made them present to them. This was, above all, an aid to prayer.
The Five Wounds are, of course, the ones which Jesus showed to his disciples after the Resurrection, as proof of his rising from the dead. In the Gospel of John, Jesus invites Thomas to put his fingers in the wounds of his hands and feet, and put his hand in his side.
This carving was one of the bench ends in this church, likely made in the late 15th/early 16th century. Here are two of the surviving benches.
You can see how these bench ends are designed to have a painting in the space at the end and were most likely painted all over. After the Reformation, the paintings, which were presumably of saints, would have been scrubbed off. The Five Wounds Devotion, being an indulgenced prayer and a Mass said especially for the dead, fell out of favour with the new Protestant overlords. This is a carving rather than a painting so could not easily be removed. It could have been chiselled off, but someone, a sympathetic Catholic clinging to their faith presumably, must have taken the decision to detach it and hide it somewhere. Perhaps there was a chapel in this church dedicated to this devotion, perhaps it was just a bench that some local person had paid for and didn’t want to see destroyed, who knows? And so it survived.

Did you know that Padre Pio celebrated his final Mass on September 22, 1968, at 5:00 a.m? It took place in the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy. Frail and physically exhausted, he was on the altar for the last time just hours before his death. Padre Pio initially intended to celebrate a "Low Mass" due to his severe fatigue. However, seeing the massiv crowd of pilgrims, he decided to celebrate a full Solemn Mass despite his failing health. Later that night, he renewed his religious vows and received the last rites. He passed away peacefully at 2:30 a.m. on September 23, 1968, with his final words being "Jesus, Mary". ~POWERFUL HEALING PRAYER ATTRIBUTED TO ST.PADRE PIO Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me. What Are the Steps to Truly Repent?
Repentance is powerful. It’s a spiritual weapon against temptation. When the devil brings a temptation of something we’ve repented for, we can declare with conviction, “I’ve repented of that. “God healed me, and I won’t go back to it.”
How can one repent for something when there’s no godly sorrow? Without godly sorrow, there won’t be a changed mind, and we’ll commit the same sin over and over again.
Repentance is a serious business and should be entered into gravely, with a sincere heart. You should be seeking a renewed heart and mind.
The Holy Spirit strengthens us and helps us through the repentance process. But before we can repent, we must acknowledge we are wrong, that we are sinners. To repent, we must:
Have godly sorrow for our sin
Confess our sin
Turn from sin (with God’s help)
Choose holiness every day
Sorrow
Before we can repent, 2 Corinthians 7 teaches we must have godly sorrow. Thus, step one to truly repenting is to experience godly sorrow, grief over our sin. Our sin must become a burden, a weight, we no longer desire to carry. We must see it’s repugnant, a stench in God’s nostrils. Godly sorrow leads to us viewing sin the way God does.
Confess
We must then confess our sin before God because he is “...faithful and just to forgive us of our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). We can also confess our faults to a trusted friend or spiritual advisor (see James 5:16) so that we can be healed.
Turn
When we have godly sorrow and confess our sin, we can then repent. Again, repentance is turning our backs on sin. Repentance is stopping whatever we’re doing that isn’t pleasing in God’s sight. Repentance is choosing God’s way instead of our flesh. Regardless of what sin(s) you’ve committed, you can repent right now, if you have godly sorrow for it. You don’t have to wait until the next time you go to church to repent.
Holiness
The last step in repentance is choosing holiness every day. Just because we repent doesn’t mean the temptation to sin won’t arise again in our lives. Thus, we have to choose holiness and righteousness daily.
When I repented of my sin, I intentionally decided to walk in holiness daily. That decision required that I change who I saw, where I went, who I invited into my home, the music to which I listened, and the movies I watched. I had to guard my heart, my eyes, my ears, and my mind every day. You may have to do the same.
A Prayer of Repentance You Can Pray: Praying through Psalm 51
Did you know that you can use the Psalms as prayers to pray for different prayer needs? Psalm 51 is an example of a prayer of repentance, and perfect to pray as part of your confession of sin.
Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.
Father, You are gracious and full of mercy.
I come to you now, repenting for the sin(s) that have held me captive.
Lord, so many times I told You I was sorry for what I’d done, but I wasn’t yet moved with godly sorrow and returned to the same sin(s).
5 Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
you taught me wisdom in that secret place.
7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity.
10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence

Today, true godly sorrow leads me to repentance.

Monthly First Saturdays of Reparation August 1st 2026 - Month dedicated to the Queenship of Mary 4th Luminous Mystery -The Transfiguration Mt. 17v1-8

The Transfiguration
And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up a hight mountain apart. And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his garments became white as light. And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him. And Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is well that we are here; if you wish, I will make three booths here, one for you and one for Moses and Elijah.” He was still speaking, when behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.” When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces, and were filled with awe. But Jesus came and touched them, saying, “Rise, and have no fear.” And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
Some thoughts from a spiritual father of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri
The Transfiguration is the moment when Our Lord discloses His divine glory on Mount Tabor. On that mountain, He confirms St. Peter's confession that He is the Christ, and that the Christ must suffer and die in order to “enter into His glory.” The cloud overshadows the disciples and the voice of the Father declares, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.” For the disciples, this was both confirmation and preparation, - a glimpse of heavenly glory to sustain them through the darkness of the Crucifixion.
Our Lady is given the same mission to reveal her Son, just as in this mystery. By faith, she already contemplated this glory in her heart, having carried it in her womb and pondered it all her life. She is the first tabernacle of that Light, and she models for us the obedience of “listening to Him.” This is why the Transfiguration was included by St John Paul II as the fourth Mystery of Light in the Rosary. The Luminous Mysteries trace how Christ reveals who He is, from the Baptism to Cana, the proclamation of the Kingdom, Tabor, and finally the Eucharist.
The consolation of the spiritual life is that we truly have a spiritual Mother in Heaven. Our Lady loves us and cares for us in ways we will never understand until we get to be with her in Heaven. We can be sure that she is full of loving concern for us. In the Litany to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, the response is, "Come to our aid, O Loving Mother." The Transfiguration, therefore, reminds us that we cannot stay on the mountain.
We receive the light so that, transformed and strengthened by sure hope, we can carry it down into the trials of daily life and even to the Cross, trusting, as Mary did, that the glory we have seen by faith will one day be fully revealed.
Some reflective questions from a Sister of Mary Morning Star
The Luminous Mysteries have been given to us in recent years. To fight the culture of darkness around us and sometimes within us. Are we praying, pondering, clinging enough to these mysteries? Are they helping us to fight the good fight in order to become children of light? Are they lifting up our hearts, our hope to keep climbing the mountain to find Christ and Him alone?
Suddenly, looking around the disciples no longer saw any one with them but Jesus alone … In our spiritual life, we are blessed with “transfiguration moments”, they are good and we must welcome them with a grateful heart. Are we prepared to go down the mountain and be with “Jesus alone”? With little or without strong signs of Jesus's divinity and glory? Are we accepting to journey in faith? And accept the Cross in our life?
The feast of the Transfiguration marks the beginning of a Novena to prepare for the glorious Assumption of Our Lady. Today, meditating on these Mysteries of Light, can we think of a special spiritual bouquet we want to offer to Our Lady for her feast? Daily Rosary, Holy Hours, a good Confession, daily Mass, daily Lectio Divina, Charitable Works…? Might we organise ourselves a transforming, transfiguring “home made retreat” for these 9 days?
We need to keep in view the crucial importance of the practice of the First Saturdays of Reparation.
Two crucial Requests as an antidote for War, for the prevention of the spread of Communism, and for Peace in the World!
The message of Fatima highlights for us that Russia cannot be converted, nor can there be peace in the world, without Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and establishment of devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary through the practice of the First Saturdays of Reparation.
The Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays, and the Collegial Consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart, led by the Holy Father in communion with all the Bishops of the world are the two crucial requests! One remains unheard, unpracticed and hardly known - the First Saturdays of Reparation!
If the Requests go unheeded!
Our Lady foretold what might happen if people did not convert and return to God - the tyranny of communism, that Russia would spread her evils throughout the world, that another War (World War II) could break out, that the good would be martyred, and that the Church would experience severe persecution. Russia it seemed was used as a symbol for all those who tried, and still try to eradicate God, through whatever atheistic systems and philosophies they can, to destroy the values of faith, the sanctity of marriage and family, and the sanctity of life from the moment of conception to natural death. Agendas which desecrate and undermine what it means to be truly human are at work.
Our Lord himself in 1936, said to Lucia, “If they do not wish to heed my request, as like the King of France, they will repent and do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer.”
It is already late! Wars, persecutions of the Church, abortion and other anti life/anti life agendas and practices have been legalised in every nation.
The First Saturdays are crucial and integral to the PEACE plan of Heaven. This message requesting the First Saturdays is the great Crown of the June 13th and July 13th messages given in Fatima in 1917 to Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco in which Our Lady said she would come to ask for the Consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays.
Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
O Mary, Virgin most powerful and Mother of Mercy, Queen of Heaven and Refuge of Sinners,
we consecrate ourselves to thy Immaculate Heart.
We consecrate to thee our very being and our whole life: all that we have, all that we love, all that we are.
To thee we give our bodies, our hearts, and our souls; to thee we give our homes, our families and our country. We desire that all that is in us and around us may belong to thee and may share in the benefits of thy motherly blessing.
And, that this act of consecration may be truly fruitful and lasting, we renew this day at thy feet the promises of our Baptism and Confirmation.
We pledge ourselves to profess courageously and at all times the truths of our holy Faith, and to live as befits Catholics, who are submissive to all directions of the Pope and the bishops in communion with him.
