The Eucharistic Miracle of Legnica, Poland (2013) On Christmas Day 2013, at St. Hyacinth’s Shrine in Legnica, a consecrated Host fell to the floor during Communion. It was placed in holy water to dissolve per Church custom. After about two weeks, the Host had not fully dissolved. A red spot appeared on its surface, later identified as human heart muscle tissue showing signs of agony. DNA tests confirmed it was human. In 2016, Bishop Zbigniew Kiernikowski officially recognized it as a Eucharistic miracle with “the hallmarks” of a supernatural event. Han var anglosaxare men drogs till missionen och räknas som Tysklands apostel. Han dog som martyr 754. Kyrkan är ett skepp, säger han, som ständigt skakas av prövningarnas vågor. ”Hon får inte överges, hon måste styras.” Han kunde instämma i Paulus ord till Timotheos: ”Var och en som vill leva gudfruktigt i Kristus Jesus kommer att förföljas”. Förföljarna kallar han ”både bedragare och bedragna”. Som vapen anvisar Paulus Timotheos till de lärare han haft och till de heliga skrifterna. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first step in ensuring that your prayers are heard and that you have the strength to endure.
Now, let us pray together for your situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is enduring harassment and injustice at their workplace. Lord, You see the pain, the weariness, and the cry for justice in their heart. We ask that You would be their strength and their shield. Give them the courage to stand firm in the truth and the peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You.
Father, we pray for justice to prevail. If our brother/sister has been wronged, we ask that You would expose the truth and hold those who have harmed them accountable. Let Your righteous judgment be made known, and let Your name be glorified in this situation. "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). We trust in Your perfect justice, Lord.
We also pray for protection over them. Guard their heart, their mind, and their spirit from bitterness, fear, and despair. Surround them with Your angels and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. "The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life" (Psalm 121:7).
Lord, we ask that You would provide wisdom and guidance for the next steps. If there are actions they need to take, reveal them clearly. If they need to speak with someone in authority, give them the words to say. If they need to seek legal counsel, open the right doors. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, oppression, or injustice in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust in Your unfailing love.
Lastly, Father, we ask that You would use this trial for good. Let this season refine their faith and draw them closer to You. May they emerge from this stronger, more dependent on You, and filled with Your peace. "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
We commit this situation into Your hands, Lord, and we trust in Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to immerse yourself in His Word. The Psalms, in particular, are filled with cries for justice and expressions of trust in God’s faithfulness. Lean on the body of Christ, find a local church or a group of believers who can support you in prayer and encouragement. Do not isolate yourself in this time of trial.
If you have not already, consider documenting the harassment you are facing. Keep records of incidents, conversations, and any evidence that may support your case. This can be important if you need to escalate the matter within your workplace or seek legal advice. Pray for wisdom in how to handle these records and when to share them.
Remember, the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone, and your cry has not gone unheard. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will sustain you and lead you through this valley.

Vi hörde näktergalen
I en värld som gärna vill att vi ska hinna lite mer och uppleva lite mer, finns det något befriande i att stanna upp. En kväll i Prästgårdsparken blev näktergalens sång en påminnelse om att det viktigaste ofta finns där redan – om vi bara tar oss tid att lyssna.
Så är vi då igång med sommaren. De första fyra dagarna har passerat och det påstås att det är 96 dagar kvar.
Varje dag räknas, kan man säga. Och det kan vara lite stressande.
Vi förväntas nästan kräma ur allt vi kan av de här dagarna – de dagar som vi resten av året ska leva av och längta tillbaka till. Vi får bråttom att hinna med allt det där härliga. Kanske blir effekten att vi gör det härliga lite för fort, så att vi inte riktigt h inner känna att det är härligt? Blir hela härligheten till slut bara ännu ett stressmoment för oss härlighetssökande människor?
I trädgården är det lite likadant. Allt växer snabbt nu. Syrenen blommar för fullt och liljekonvaljerna står och vippar vackra i grönskan. Tulpanerna börjar ge vika och är snart bara gröna stjälkar som många inte tycker är särskilt roliga i rabatten. Tips och tricks om att gräva upp lökarna och förvara dem till hösten dyker upp i flödena. Allt ska vara fint och perfekt. Det som inte längre är som allra vackrast plockar vi undan.
Bort med de trötta tulpanerna och in med de fräscha sommarblommorna.
Parallellen till våra egna liv är inte så svår att dra.
Jag tänker på orden i Predikaren:
”Allt har sin tid, det finns en tid för allt som sker under himlen; en tid att plantera och en tid att rycka upp det planterade.” Predikaren
Det är en befriande text. Den påminner oss om att livet inte alltid ska se likadant ut. Det finns tider då vi växer och blommar, och tider då vi samlar kraft. Tider då vi sår nytt och tider då vi får skörda. Tider av glädje och tider av sorg. Vi behöver inte vara på topp hela tiden, lika lite som tulpanen kan blomma året om.
I går kväll hade vi växthusgruppen samlad i Stöde prästgårdspark. Vi tittade till tomaterna, paprikorna och chiliplantorna som nu är inne i en intensiv tillväxtperiod. Den mörka tomaten Black Ball visade sig vara precis så vacker som vi hade hoppats. I odlingsbäddarna växer sallad och lök, och löken fick sig en omgång gräsklipp som en liten grön vitaminboost.
Och så hörde vi näktergalen.
Inte för att den började sjunga just då, utan för att några av oss stannade upp och lyssnade. För en sån som mig själv – som inte så ofta känner igen fåglarna som sjunger, kan sätta namn på dom eller känna igen deras sång så var det nog inte förens i bilen på väg hem som det slog mig hur speciellt det var. En näktergal som sjunger i Stöde. Jag borde lyssnat mer på den och de som kunde identifiera den. Inte haft så bråttom med fikat!
Det kanske är det just detta Predikaren vill hjälpa oss att förstå. Det finns en tid att arbeta och en tid att vila. En tid att göra och en tid att bara vara. Om vi hela tiden skyndar vidare till nästa upplevelse riskerar vi att missa det som redan finns mitt framför oss.
Näktergalen sjunger inte bara för den som har tid att lyssna. Men det är bara den som stannar upp som hör den.
Kanske är det så med mycket av det som är viktigt i livet.
Så när sommaren nu rullar vidare och dagarna sakta blir färre vill jag skicka med en enkel uppmaning: försök inte hinna med allt. Välj istället att vara där du är.
Kom gärna ner till prästgårdsparken. Salladen är klar för plockning för den som vill förse sig. Men mest av allt hoppas jag att du tar dig tid att sitta en stund. Känn doften av syrenerna medan de blommar. Titta på det som växer. Vila blicken på grönskan.
Och lyssna.
